After a session 6 weeks ago consisting of -

Wash using Zymol Autowash

Clay bar Meguiars

Zymol HD Cleanse

Zymol Vintage wax

I was very pleased with the results but unfortunately it wasn't sunny. When the sun came out I noticed very minor swirls.

I decided to try 3M Imperial Hand Glaze until I decide to get a PC.

Sunday I did the following -

Wash using Zymol Autowash

3M Imperial Hand Glaze x2 coats

Zymol Vintage wax

The sun was out today so decided to take some better pics.

Unfortunately after 4 hours hard graft I was unable to remove the swirls by hand. I wish I had a Brinkmans Xenon light when I started!

PC is now on order so I hope to sort the swirls out soon.

What sort of cloths are you using?

And what method of applying/buffing

Detailing World have all the answers.

(says me, good at theory, useless in practice!)

I have Zymol Microfibre cloths and also Zymol towels. I think the swirls have always been there since new but probably made worse from washing the car and not waxing during winter!

I'm on detailing world which is where I got the info to get a Porter Cable 7424.
