Skoda superb 3v3 2.0 tdi oil consumption

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a skoda superb 2.0 tdi 3v3 2016. I am topping up 1 litre per 1000 miles. It has slowly gone up in the last 40 thousand miles. The cars milage is 166000miles. There are no leaks under the car. Mpg local is 45.

No issues with the drivability either.

No smoke on start up or on idle.

I'm using mannol 5w30 fully synthetic oil 504/507 spec.

Can any one help or has any idea what this may be.

Thanks

Perhaps the mileage the car has covered has something to do with it.

If its running fine just carry on driving it. A litre of oil or 10 is way cheaper than engine work.
