Possibly , though I've looked at the bonnet position .v.wioers when open and it doesn't look like they'd foul on the Yeti though they might on other VW / seat/ Skid models using common catches etc

Try it and take paint off the bonnet on drivers side when changing wiper blades.

Std feature, several  Clio's in the family had the issue and several dry cleaning bills ... Renault even recalled the MK2 Clio and replaced the bonnet catches  .... dont think it ever fixed the issue .... road gunge just stopped the catch from locking properly.
