Hello from a Citigo E owner

Featured Replies

Hello. I've just bought what might have been that last new electric Citigo in the UK. Living in London I decided I'd like a small electric car as well as my good old Skoda Yeti. I looked at various options, both new and used, before buying this car.

Driving electric is fun. The car is very quick off the mark, easy to drive and so far the 36kWh battery is living up to its promises. The only shame is that it was the SE version, not the SEL. I don't much care about the lack of rapid DC charging but not having cruise control and reversing sensors are minor annoyances. I wonder how feasible a cruise control retrofit might be.

I went down to Skoda in Aldershot to collect the car. They had brought it up from their Winchester branch. Here it is on their transporter, just before I took posession.
