Can I change my plain 4 spoke steering wheel to the 3 spoke and use the audio controls on the actual wheel or not? If I can use them how easy or difficult is this to do?

If you don't already have a wheel with buttons then it's unlikely to work without an extra module in the steering column and some wiring.

 

I hate to do this again as it seems like it always the only option.... Try asking @SashaGrace as she is the oracle on modules on here.

The airbag loom needs changing, that’s the easy bit. The CAN Gateway needs changing and that’s the biggie as it has component protection.

Cruise control is SwaP (Software as a Product) which needs a FEC (Feature Enable Code) to work - and those are VIN specific and can only be generated by workshops with online access to the Skoda servers.

Thanks Dave i will contact a Skoda dealer to see if they can fit this as i miss not having it especially on motorways👍
