I have a 21 plate L&K estate and can't find a way of answering an incoming telephone call other than tapping on the infotainment screen. Previous cars have had a button on the steering wheel but there is not one now. Tapping the screen while driving does not seem to me to be either easy or safe. Am I being particularly stupid and missing something?

 

On the plus side, the change from the 190 diesel to the 280 petrol engine has been fun!

Just a guess here, but maybe the scroll wheels can be pressed to answer, i changed my steering wheel buttons in order to retrofit the virtual cockpit, and since then have been pressing on the screen as well, havent tried the scroll wheels..

Yes, that's the correct answer!  

right hand scroll wheel, the one used to change the selection of functions, the left one changes volume up or down

Yep, just tried mine today, and the right scroll wheel indeed does answer the call, you can end the call by pressing as well!

Thanks everybody. I was confident that I would get a good answer from people that use this forum. Better than reading the manual in this case 😊
