The passenger inside door handle chrome covering has begun to peel on my 68 plate Fabia.

The handle is hardly ever used.

Has anyone else had this and is it a warranty claim issue?

Go claim it as it should last the life of the car. 

 

Its poor quality control so should be fine within warranty.

Claim, because it should last the life of the car and is a safety issue; chrome plate is sharp.

I'm taking  the car to the main dealer  next Monday for an assessment. 

 

Hopefully they will agree it's a warranty claim.

Update.

It's a warranty claim,they're doing it while I wait.

Free wash and valet too.

The passenger door won't open from the inside now 

Fixed it by using lock/unlock button inside a few times.

I did earlier open all windows on the key fob due to hot weather if that affected it in some way?.

No it's not fixed.

Back to the dealer.
