Loose door edge on my Skoda Superb 3.

Featured Replies

Hello!

The wedge part in (red circle in picture) is loose on my car.

I just wonder how to fix it?

I doesn't seems to be a clip or something holding it....is this part glued on the door?

It's glued, clipped AND screwed in......makes no sense how it can become "loose".

Strange U have this scenario.

I tend to agree @JR RS and only put it down to either a glue failure or something has impacted with that part. That in turn causing the current issue ?

glue failure alone "shouldn't" cause any issues as there r still a dozen or more clips, plus screws holding it in place.

more likely its been damaged as a result of being hit/scrapped.

Thank you for your answers.

JR RS that picture will really help me a lot. THANK YOU!

I would think that the reason this happend is because my children had something hanging out of the door sill like the seat belt when they tried to shut the door.
