Relay109 clicking

Featured Replies

hello, I have a problem with my octavia 1.9 tdi 4x4, the 109 relay clicks quickly but it only does it when the engine is hot and the revolutions go down from 1100 rpm, if I accelerate and go up from 1100 rpm it stops doing it, revised feld looks good , alternator charges well, checked when the relay fails 14.3 volts, will it be a problem with the relay? I am deconcentrated by the fact that I only do it in hot and below 1100 rpm

Title typo

My guess is its a dry solder joint in the relay.

Either change the relay or if you have the right skills, open it up, inspect the solder joints and re-solder any dodgy looking joints.

Requires soldering tools and skills of course.

What is a "revised feld"? Try a different translation

I already opened the relay and I checked the welds and they look good, the relay does not have the 109 mark, I have already ordered a new relay to test, which I do not understand because it only does it hot and when the revolutions drop below 1100 rpm either circulating or parked

What is your engine code, and which position on the relay holder does this 109 relay occupy?

the engine code is AGR and the relay position is 12, the engine runs and does not stop
