Hi I have new job working on bead blaster all day the dust is horrific so I want to protect my front car seats, Has anyone fitted car seat covers to VRS MK2 standard front bucket seats. I have seen them on eBay for MK1 but not MK2?? Thanks

I think this may be a bad idea if the car has standard side airbags.

 

That said, I'd also question your employer's attention to health and safety if you're being allowed to go home in clothes permeated with blasting grit.

agreed......on both counts.............should be wearing an overall to protect your own clothes and your employer should be suppyling or re-imbursing if you pay for them.

Any seat or protective covers which you fit to the driver or front passenger
seats must only be of the type expressly authorized by ŠKODA. In view
of the fact that the airbag inflates out of the backrest of the seat, use of
non-approved seat or protective covers would considerably impair the protective
function of the side airbag.

So does Skoda have an approved cover for MK2, also i only get HEPA mask for job, also nowhere to sit for lunch other than car as well, can only find Octavia & fabia 1 covers
