Infotainment screen is broken

Featured Replies

I came home, turned off the car and everything was fine. 15 minutes later I turn it back on and the infotainment screen is not working as it should.

I have tried factory resetting through the menu 2 times and holding down the power button for 15 seconds and it does not help. The car was also left alone for a few hours and it didn't help as well.

Tomorrow I am going to the Škoda official dealer to see if they can fix the issue. My guess is, it's either the flat cable connecting the screen with the GPU, or the GPU itself. I hope the factory warranty covers this.

I am getting tiered of electronic failures on these new octavia models. I bought this car 1 week ago. Before this i had the non rs version and it was riddled with parking system, front assist and airbag errors.

car is Škoda Octavia vRS 2.0 TSI 2021

software version is: 1788

if anyone has seen this and knows any fixes please do share.

You have only had it one week. This is a serious faults. Why would you think there was a possibility that the warranty did not apply?

went to the official dealer, they said they haven't seen anything like that yet... They have opened a work order with Škoda and we are awaiting their reply.
