Skoda Octavia 2.0 2005 Petrol Engine - Sudden Power Loss

Hi, I recently purchased a used Skoda Octavia 2.0 Petrol Engine, 2005 Model. The Vehicle is 16yrs old and is really well maintained with no major issues. It has a good mileage of 14-17kmpl on highway while driving at constant speed around 80-90 km/hr. and 9-11kmpl in city considering traffic conditions. But there is a problem that occurs for a while when driving. There is Power Loss and it can be felt in the throttle.  When in 1st & 2nd Gear the car vibrates. This happens for a while and goes back to normal. I did research in the forum and found that it might be due to dusty air & fuel filter or may be sticky vanes. Any one else faced similar problem pls shed some light as of what to do? Will cleaning the vanes solve problem or is there any problem with the turbo?? PS: This vehicle runs on INDIAN ROADS.

MAF sensor if this car has one (which I think it does) 

 

They tend to go partially faulty and then suddenly give up, leaving you at the side of the road. 
 

When you say it can be felt in the throttle, do you mean that if you put your foot down, you don’t get much response? Is it like it’s hesitant and then it’ll pick up slowly or picks up suddenly?

If you suspect it could be this part, buy a genuine replacement as they’re a lot better and last a lot longer than pattern parts

I should check about the MAF Sensor, I really have no idea about the technical parts

 

And yes when it goes into that mode and I push the throttle, the engine feels like it is pushing hard to keep up the speed, I could feel the car struggling to maintain its normal speed. I have to push the pedal all the way down to get speed and during that it chugs a lot of fuel. This happens for a few minutes or kms and then suddenly it goes back to normal. I could feel the sudden push and then it goes back to normal.
