Just changed the drop links for meyle hd ones and the balljoints to meyle ones. I have a clonk that i can feel from ns only when i hit a rut or pothole type, where wheel goes down first then on the rebound get a clonk almost like a completely knackered drop link sound. 

Could it be the drop link? 

Everything else looks good and feels tight

Meyle stuff is awful, so that could be the problem. If the rut/pothole is very deep, the shock could also be topping out, and there's no bump stop there to soften it when it happens. It makes a nasty clunk when it happens.

Really ive always used meyle on droplinks and joints. Never had a problem with them. Used on vags toyotas and mercs. 

 

The shock topping out is exactly what im feeling. Will investigate
