Where can I find more glass lights or should I swop out for plastic ?

Also my side lights still don’t work after finding the switch next to fuse box , checking fuses and changing bulbs , anyone in leamington spa know about electrics ? Or I pop to the local garage I’ve been recommended  

There is no Sidelight Bulb to swap out.  The Blue Bulb in the headlight is a dummy.

 

The DRL units you are showing are the DRL's if the Switch beside the fuse is on, (Later cars did not get the switch) and they are the Side Lights / Position lights when you turn on the Sidelights or Sidelights & Headlights.  Less bright when they are on as sidelights compared to when on as DRL's.

 

So do the DRL units not come on currently as the Sidelights?

 

Former owners might have modified the lights and actually have the bulbs in the headlights working as sidelights because some have done this over the years.

There the lights yes but all other lights work and the drls seem to be on regardless of the switch ( but I check again)

so if the other lights are just dummies like me I will just leave it.

The drl light is cracked and I found some for 65 from another vrs owner , but are they so expensive is there somewhere cheaper to order online. 

I think if you put 1 cheap one in, the LED's may well be a slightly diff colour / intensity and that would look really odd.

 

They dont look great from the pictures and I very much doubt they will last............

 

If the ones the other owner has got are good used ones, then worth it "imo"............although personally I would fit a new one.

Always best to check with your nearest dealer first, thats gives you a base price where you know you can definitely get it from.

You can just put Heli-Tape (Clear film) on both DRL's as others have over the years.

Best done before one cracks, but does the job once cracked.

If they were too expensive for you, you could of negotiated with me. Nevermind 👍

No !! I still want them and will pop up in a week or so if you still have them, just collecting info
