Foam insert in front grille

Featured Replies

Hi all, just picked up by new VRS TSI Estate (gorgeous) and noticed a foam insert at the bottom of the front grille. Any ideas? First drive out tomorrow to Huddersfield from Essex - can't wait. Just come out of a 5 series diesel so should be interesting to compare comfort..

Hi there, that piece of foam is an impact absorber - helps support the bumper/front structure and absorbs low/mid speed impacts
