Brake change. Kit required?

Featured Replies

I am getting close to needing new brakes all round. If possible, I will do it myself but what kit do I need to do the rear (electric parking brake)?  Any specific tools also?

Yes, for the electric handbrake you need a diagnostic computer capable of winding it back.

You will need some kind of device to put the rear callipers  in service mode ,a Carister or obd 11 should do it and is probably the cheapest way to go

Any idea where to source this?

Is it a case of measuring the disks that are on there already or is there some where I can look up the disk diameters?

Just over £200 inc VAT for Brembo disks and pads front and rear. Nice.
