Name's Mário and i drive an Octavia Mk1 Tdi 90hp , year 2001 and only 124.000 km.

I bought it with 40.000 km. Since then, besides normal maintenance i changed distribuition and clutch (previous owner have not treated it correctly).

Things i like about this car:

Low cost of maintenance
Very good fuel consumption: around 5L/100km

I look forward to learn some improvments in order to prolongue my car's lifetime.

Seat help - new car and seats murder my back

Hi All. Just got a 2019 Karoq 2019 SE L........i've noted other people have had an uncomvortable seat experience but its not many. The seats are nurdering my mid/upper back and I cannot find a position that works. I drive several cars each year and have been driving for over 20 years....never had anything like this happen. At the moment it feels like the only option I have is to trade it in for another brand. Anyone had a fix or similar experi

Hi. I've posted recently ( thanks everyone) about a worrying occasional rattle that disappears on depressing the clutch. Thanks to advice here the belt (40K 5 years) should be ok..I then thought the rattle might be the dual mass flywheel,as I had experienced this on my old T4 .However Skoda say the flywheel is solid. Trying to get more advice before splashing out on belt/clutch. Does anybody have an independent guy in the Lincoln/south Lincolnshire area please. Thanks Mick

Hi all, a question: We enjoy having a 2025 Skoda Kodiaq iV PHEV. In last year's software update, you can now choose (and it is recommended) to have the maximum charge level automatically reset to 80% after a charge. We only charge to 100% occasionally if we know we have to travel further the next day, and then the car automatically resets it to 80% for the next charge so that it never stays at 100% for long, as that would be bad. Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue. Hi, Partner acquired this 2023 1.0 Fabia last year. So far, the resistor pack for the fan has packed (!) up and the actuator for the fuel flap needed replacing. These were done under warranty. She's had the car back from its MOT and warranty work and now there's a light on the dash saying "check brake lights." The light on the nearside is out and there's only one reversing light, on the offside. Are the rear lights all LED? No bulb I can change? If it is a bulb, how do I get to it? Are th
