i know it's too early for this question, because the car is still new, but is it possible to upgrade to parking package plus? As i see i need to change my mirrors for sure, because there is cameras inside. What about any other chips / modules?

I suspect that the answer to that would be not likely, especially given the required hardware change. I asked if it would be possible to upgrade from Assisted Drive Basic to Plus at a later date and Skoda confirmed that would not be possible, and yet that seems to be more just a software configuration. 

 

To be honest, I have area parking view on my current car, and I really don't use it anywhere near enough to warrant the extra cost that Skoda wanted to charge for it. 

My parking is underground with very small elevator. For example when I am in the elevator with folded mirrors i have about 15 cm / on each side.

I have no problem to get in / out with my old car / bigger, but you know that feeling when you drive your new car
