Some months ago I had a central locking problem diagnosed as needing a new door lock. Now I have finally got around to buying the new lock, I need some advice on fitting it.

Can anyone point me to a simple step-by-step guide? I can handle a screwdriver and a socket set but my skills don't go much further than that!

There isnt a step by step guide, but I can give a quick how to.

Remove door trim

Remove door key barrell

Remove inner plastic membrane (needs to be refiitted with no holes)

Unbolt the lock

Refit is reversal

Anything you struggle on give us a shout.
