Skoda connect failure

I have a problem with the Skoda connect app (and the connect webpage).
The car reports info to the app when i lock/unlock (status for doors, windows etc) but when i try to do a manual refresh i get an error message.
If i try to use the aux heater in the app i get constant errors and i cant use it.
Since the status updates when i lock/unlock the car the connection to the servers is working.
Have tried to

delete/reregister my car

uninstalled/installed the app

check/uncheck the private mode

 

The Skoda support (in Sweden)  is not so fast to answer so I try here to see if anybody else has the same problem and have a solution.

I'm sorry to report that Skoda Connect features are generally considered fairly pointless.  It sounds like you have Infortainment as well as Care Connect.  Just out of interest - have you paid your annual subscription to Care Connect?  If not, all of the above services will stop working.  If that is still not working (and you have paid up), then it is a trip to your Skoda dealer to get the Comms Gateway replaced (VW/Skoda went and knackered up the gateway due to the fact they changed the authentication tokens when they moved to the cloud and stopped a chunk of cars from working).
