Xbox 360 package prices?

Featured Replies

Hey

I was wondering if anyone has managed to find any good package prices on an XBox 360 as I'm looking at getting one but all the packages are pretty expensive that I've seen. Is there anywhere I should look at in particular maybe?

Cheers

Problem is M$ currently has the only Hi def console on the market so prices are unlikely to come down any time soon :(

£279 for the premium package is good value for what you actually get for it. The machine is a real class act especially if you use xbox live. Yes its more then you want to pay but in reality its still less then the price of a ps2 on launch day. I qould only expect to see a price drop either just before or after christmas if at all. Even without a price drop its still far cheaper then the ps3 is going to retail at.

Yeah I know I've read about the PS3 starting at over £400 for the full kit. I had a suprising phone call from BBC 1Xtra this afternoon saying I won a new XBox from a competition I entered a few weeks ago. I should have it tomorrow I'm hoping it's not an old XBox as the girl didn't quite know when I asked her. I'm pretty sure the competition was for a 360 (fingers crossed).

360 now available from PC world for 274 if you reserve online and collect at store

(only 5 quid off 279, I know, but still 5 quid!)

Also, Blockbuster do a 360 premium + 2 games for 339 new, advantage of that particular deal is that you can choose the 2 games rather than it being a set bundle

I am looking in to this as well, and when i was in argos the other day they were offering a core pack, with PGR3 and a spare controller for 217.99. Im still debating going for it.

The prices on the consoles was dropped by £10 just before bank holiday weekend.

I would buy the premium console. Wireless controller, HD TV cable & HDD more than worth the 80 notes. Then find PGR on ebay or at blockbusters 2nd hand for 25 quid.

You'll certainly end up buying the HDD if you want online gaming/demo downloads.

The 360 is a totally different league from the other consoles (IMHO)...when I don't really like consoles, but even I bought a 360...

There are plenty about in stock at places, and they've just had a price drop (by about
