Pixels dead on MFD screen

Featured Replies

Hi guys the MFD on the clocks had been missing pixels but in the last few days alot more pixels have died. Is there a how2 to fix this issue or can I just a second hand set from the breakers and have the mileage corrected? Only reason I'm asking is I have heard were people have changed the clocks and the car won't start due to the immobiliser being part of the clocks. I don't want to be out a great expense for this issue so I'm looking the cheapest option possible to rectify it

If this is just MFD affected then you can buy second cluster and retrofit MFD from it. Just make sure to get cluster with manufacture date as close to the one you have as possible as there were two types.
