Please can anyone confirm if the pollen filter housing in my 2012 Superb 1.6 TDI is located behind the panel shown in the image? If so, how do I remove it? (It's quite stubborn to take out.)

 

I took the image on the passenger side.

 

If I'm looking in the wrong place please can you advise where the pollen filter is located on this car.

 

That looks like the place in passenger footwell. I reckon there will be a YouTube video for it. Try there. Otherwise it slides to one side left or right and the filter stays behind or comes with it.

I understand what I was doing wrong. (Not sliding the opening/lid from side to side.)
