Downgrade to 19'?

Featured Replies

Hey,

I am considering to downgrade to 19' wheels. Now i have 21' with summer tires on them.

What are pros & cons for going to 19' for me:

Pros:

1. Cheaper tires . 19' winter tire is around 150 euros ~, 21' is  going 200+ euros.

2. Bigger range. When im driving on a highway with 21' and speed is about 140-150 km/h, The battery drains really fast.

Cons:

1. Additional rims.  I need to buy additional rims. Each rim starts at about 300 euros.

2. Additional tires.  If i want to stay with these size after winter i need new tires too. (If i sell 21').

Money spend:

1. with 19':

  • rims: 1200 euros
  • winter tires: 600 euros.
  • summer tires (optional): 600 euros.

2. with 21':

  • winter tires: 800 euros.
  • Bigger consumption on the road.

I wanna hear your opinion here.

Thanks.

Nope, 19' is minimum for 80 version.

Travelling at 150 kph is going to drain your battery fast regardless of what size you tyres are.
