I am about to get rid of my 2018 Karoq and have cleared out all the data from the Satnav.  Do I need to delete my phone contacts or do they simply remain on my iphone and are then linked by Bluetooth rather than being downloaded in to Infotainment system? If they have to be deleted from Infotainment, how is that achieved?

 

I think a factory reset should remove all personal data, as long as you don't let your phone download the contact list when you drive the car to your dealers!
