Heater Blower Resistor (Skoda Superb Mk ll 4x4 Estate)

Featured Replies

The AC and heater does not respond to the Climatronic control, My reading here suggests its either the resistor or the blower fan itself. I have a replacement

resistor but I cannot locate where it is under the glove box by the fan itself. If anyone can suggest where I will locate this, perhaps with a photo I would be most appreiative.

It seems a simple task to change it but I cannot locate it. Thanks.

Are you climatic (the  manual one with 4 fan speeds) or climatronic (the fully automatic one with 7 or 8 fan speeds).

If it's climatronic, the fan doesn't have a resistor.  The speed is varied using pulse width modulation.

For climatic:

Mine is the fully automatic one, so thanks for the information. The pictures were brilliant too.😄
