After 4 years of trouble free ownership, I changed my Octavia Scout for an Octavia IV. I have had a few electrical/software issues, mainly warning messages that self resolve .

The main issue though is the remote fobs. They seem to go to sleep and do not then unlock the car. When KESSY was disabled this meant a call to the AA, but other than diagnosing a communication issue we didn’t get any further. Booked in at the dealer at the end of next week (4 weeks since the issue started). I have tried syncing the keys, but no joy. The keys go to sleep soon after locking regardless of how I lock the car.

 

Any ideas?
