Yeti clock spring

Featured Replies

It looks like the clock spring has gone on my mum’s yeti the week before she is trading it in. Does anyone know of any compatible parts supplier that don’t charge the cost of Skoda, just with trading it?

Its a 2014 Yeti TSI 1.2 2 wheel drive

thanks

Carefully choose when to make the trade-in so that the stopped clock shows the right time?

Search on Google or other search engine this part number. You should find much cheaper pricing than from Skoda but you will need someone that can fit it and use a scan tool. This part number is for my 2014 2.0l diesel but should be the same as it is used on many VAG models. It would be worth while getting supplier to confirm before purchasing tgat it definitely is the correct one for your mums Yeti. 5K0953569AL.

The clock spring has gone on my 2014 Outdoor S Tdi Cr My part no is similar but end AG as in 5KO 953 569 AG .

Do the last 3 letters make a difference?

Thank you

Thanks for that , but forgive my ignorance , does that mean i can replace with AL or AK ??

I'd stick to AL.

According to the website where I looked up AG (oemwolf.com), AL hasn't been further superseded.

That's not an official VW group site though, so may be out of date.  But it also may be the case that the suffix AK part is different, and doesn't suit cars that AG and AL do.

On this page, while searching for the AL part, under the heading "Škoda part number:"There isn't an AK, which I'd take as further suggesting it's not equivalent:

Electronic Module Škoda 5K0953569AL (skoda-parts.com)

Thanks for that

I was wondering why I couldn't find AG anywhere or they were out of stock.

Helped me a lot 👍👍👍

No problem. That oemwolf.com site and the skoda-parts.com one are both handy for researching part number equivalences.
