Automatically close half opened windows

Featured Replies

Someone (one of our children ?) accidentally pressed longer the remote key fob and left our car with half opened windows. It was in the evening and I noticed that because I had to go somewhere. Otherwise it would be left with open windows for the whole night.

Is there any way Kodiaq will automatically close opened windows if nobody entered the car for X minutes ?

No, but you can turn off convenience opening/closing of the windows in the menu. If you have key personalisation you will need to do it for both keys.

If the child presses the remote unlock button accidentally again the car should re lock ( assuming it was locked) , can’t remember time but around 1 min, if no doors have been opened.

Glad you caught it before it rained.

My key is welded into my pocket unless welded into its overnight tin. Spare keys in safe.

Grandchildren haven’t had their hands on it / them yet.

Sores in safe.

You can get cream for that nowadays 😉.

Suberb had rain sensor with 4 sensors and as soon as it got some water on the windshield, it automatically closed all windows.

Kodiaq has only 2 sensors, for some safety reasons they do not provide autamatic window closing anymore.

Thanks all. The closest to what I want would be, as @Kenny R said, disable the opening/closing windows using remote control. I need to change that in the console in the car ?
