I would partially agree with the above however this will be a constant 10A for quite a while and unless the socket you are using is a good one this may cause issues.

Do a charge from flat and after about 3 hrs go check how warm/hot the plug is to see if you are happy 🙂

10A is not much at all. If the UK plug is rated 13A you can bet it can safely handle that and more for a long period of time. Cable maybe less so, but you could use 0,75mm2 cable and it would hold 10A for a hundred years. (Standard cable in most high power appliances is usually 1.5mm2).
