Hi Folks,

 

Does anyone know if the sound system in the Octavia iV VRS with Canton upgrade supports gapless playback. I've tried loads of different formats from FLAC, AAC to Opus all on USB C flash drive connected directly to car and there is always a small gap in between tracks which is annoying for some albums which are designed to play non stop like Jean-Michel Jarre or the War of the Worlds for example.

 

The help file or manual doesn't mention anything or even Canton for that matter.

How come this does depend wheater you have canton or not? Canton are speakers only, but you need some crossfade support player like spotify?

Yeah its a player thing. If using USB or something, cant help it.
