Transaction control system (TSC) and Control system for exhaust lights are on after changing tires

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm new here so I hope I caan get some help here. I was today and changed from summer tires to winter tires. When I was done and started the car, both of Transaction control system (TSC) and Control system for exhaust lights are on . These started my tires changing.

Have I accidentally make any cable or similar loose. If so, where can I check this?

Regards,
Amana

Be much easier to help if you tell us what car you have and what model year it is.

Sorry! I have a Skoda Fabia Combi 1.2 from 2007

Do you have different size tyres fitted?

No, they are the same size. I have changed these wheels from summer to winter tires for the past 10 years. When I changed this time, it was a little difficult to get off one wheel and then I had to take it off by hitting the tire.No they are the same. I have used these tire

If they hit the tyre when the wheel was on the car they could have dislodged some dirt into the gap between the ABS sensor & the magnetic reluctor ring on the back of the hub....or they could have moved the hub unit which would alter the air gap..

Go for a drive & turn the steering wheel lock to lock & see if it goes??...if not it needs a scan as its either the ABS sensor wire, the sensor, or the ring which is part of the hub unit..
