swmbo picked up new vRS today

L&K estate is now replaced with red octy 2 vRS. Now rain as stopped tho and car dried it is covered in sand/dust, water marks from rain and wax residue from dealer. :thumbdwn: water marks seem particulary prevelant on the spoiler wich I presume is due in part to its construction? Oh well once the weather clears up I will get down to work. The car as come with Dunlop sport tyres which also seem to generate alot more noise than whatever was on the demo at the time. Just me being picky and hoping to join Grahams grumpy club:P By the way SHE as not let me drive it yet:thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: mind you at least its put a smile on her face;)

Have to admit it was my idea:P and when the volvo finally gets replaced by furby vRS we will be swapping cars day about:thumbup: SWMBO will not drive the volvo tho:O :thumbdwn: so I have to wait:mad:

Hello I have completely drained the cooling system to replace the coolant in my 1.4 MPI. To refill my Haynes manual says to remove the temperature sensor from the cylinder head to allow air to escape. I pulled out the clip and then lifted out the sensor which came out by pulling. I then filled the system until coolant was seen in the sensor hole. I then the replaced the sensor but noticed coolant leaking from it. On inspection noticed that the sensor was able to move up and down with the clip in

I have a rattle as stated above, we diagnosed it today as front brake pads rattling in the carriers. 2014 Fabia vrs, proving very difficult to source oem correct new carriers in red, I have ordered some from Autodoc and will paint them before we fit them It initially sounded like exhaust contacting chassis or loose subframe fasteners

Hi! I'm in need of some help please. My Octavia estate sat for 8 months unused. The battery went flat (AGM Varta) and doesn't charge. I got the car started with a different battery and then swapped in the dead battery to see if it would start charging. BUT, now the engine was running I needed to move the car a bit and found that the gear stick won't go into reverse gear. It can select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th but not reverse. I've ordered up a new AGM battery (due in a couple of days) but this reverse

Hello! With the Heat we are experiencing in these days in Italy (more than 30º) I decided to use the the aircon, as last Summer it was really wonderful BUT with my surprise it doesn’t work! I thought there was no gas in the tank but test said there was; I also put new from the beginning but nothing changed: Skoda mechanic told me he doesn’t hear the compressor starting.
