I want to run a diesel heater off a leisure battery when I'm camping. I'd like to have the ability to charge the battery up with the vehicle and solar. Has anyone done this with an estate car? I'm thinking of routing a wire under the car and into the back (I don't want to pull up carpets) where I'll have the battery and a dc to dc charger. I've done it before in a van but wondered if anyone has experience specific to an estate car. Thanks
