Ok as you know my wing mirror has been clipped yet again and damaged. ive got a chance of a pair off a vrs from a car being broken down and just wanted to check before I purchase that these will fit my car okay ???

Aye they should do. I believe the fitting of the connector is the same.

 Electric heating, electric heating and adjustment or manual (probably unlikely on a VRS). Wiring is different on heated vs heated and electric adjustment. Had a heated/electrical adjustable knocked off my Mk.1 Elegance and fitted a just heated on which I had to modify the wiring.

A vRS has the same mirrors as the Ambiente. In fact, it's referred to as a step above the Ambiente.

 

Mine has heated and electric on it which is why I thought the vrs replacements would be okay.

They should be. I believe they're nicked from an Ambiente at the factory anyway, and that's just the name for the post-facelift Comfort.
