Window smashed - radio gone !

Featured Replies

So the proper security film, is it something we can fit ourselves, or something that needs professional fitting?

My old laguna had its windows put through, twice. So tedious. Even though the excess is pretty small on windows, they still dont clear up all the bits of glass. Kept finding them a year later.

I would think Pro fitting, They have to take the glass out and clean it and then stick it on.

I am sure it could be DIYable, but as to wether anyone will sell you just the film and what tools you need to apply it without bubbles I don't know

When I had my tinted security film (SecureFix) fitted, it took a couple of hours to do and cost about

SecureFix.. thats the brand I couldn't think of :)

Ta, and yeah they took the windows out on my cars and wen't right down to the bottom of the glass in the holder.
