Bolero Radio gone dead switches on but no sound ????

Featured Replies

I have a VRs on a 62 plate from new its been perfect however i now have an issue with the radio unit  its the standard factory fitted Bolero unit which has just stopped working it switches on but i have no Volume and an icon in the top left of the display showing  speaker with a line through it, no volume at all ??? no blue tooth phone connection, the display looks normal except for the symbol of the speaker with the line through it , its worked perfect from day one but just stopped working , no warning nothing, i am not technical and my local dealer did not seem to have a clue as to the fault. Can  any one please help i cover a lot of miles so really need the radio -cd player for company and traffic updates

Thanks guys for any advice information

It sounds like the volume mute icon, check the button on the steering wheel.
