I'm trying to route a cable from the cabin into the engine bay for some ancillary equipment I'm fitting, I've previously achieved this by using a grommet hole in the boot area and running a cable between the underside of the car  and the plastic protection. It would be really handy to be able to go through the bulkhead. I have the glove box swung down on it's hinges but it doesn't seem to pull out like the Mk2, the design is different. Any ideas welcome

I had to take the battery out and push a rod through the bulkhead grommet and then on the inside i had to move it around to get below the dashboard so i could attach the wire to take to the engine bay.
