Hello all. I’m looking to buy a Superb Estate 2010/11. Elegance with a petrol engine as I’m right on the edge of the ULEZ. What are common faults I should be looking out for?

Which petrol engine are you considering and is it with a manual or DSG?

Sorry, knew I’d forget something. 6 speed manual. 

Is it a 1.4 or 1.8TSI ?

 If a 1.8 TSI you might want to look at the issues that these engines could have. Maybe this was addressed years ago on any car you look at but best research this. 

 

There will be those that can help on here and know about them.
