My 03 Octy Vrs is coming to the end of its 3 year warranty and in need of its first mot.

It has a few faults - one speaker gone, leaking rear door seal and very noisy air con (even when turned off it gurgles loudly) and the tailgate lock seems well dodgy.

My Q is - will the MOT pick up any mechanical faults that I have not noticed?

And can any other VRS owners suggest what I should be looking out for and bringing to Skodas attention.

Would hate to discover a bigger fault once the warranties expired...

Get the MOT done up to a montyh before it is needed and you won't loose that month, but anything that is picked up can be done under warrenty.
