Hi Skodians,

 

I have an Octavia Mk 3 (2014) vRS Hatch, and I'm so close to finishing a full audio install in it. But I can't find a readily available grounding point near the passenger (left-side) seat, where my amp is installed.

 

I'd usually use the seat bolts but they appear to be painted on both ends. Does anyone know of a nearby grounding point that's relatively easy to get to?

How about behind the end of the dash panel? It pops off easily enough 

Theres an earth point just under the carpet on the door sill about 3 inches towards the rear from the bonnet latch.

Brilliant, thank you! I was dreading popping off more panels but this one came off real easily and was readily accessible.

 

FWIW, I can confirm that the seat bolts do not ground, even if you replace the bolts with conductive equivalents.
