Rear parking sensors stopped working.

Featured Replies

Hi my rear parking sensors have suddenly stopped working on my 2012 superb estate. I'm not getting any sound and the  radio display is not changing from radio when I select reverse gear. Could this be the sensor module dead and if so where is it located.

Thanks for any help

Are the reverse lights working?

Yes reversing lights still work, but get no sound from them and the radio doesn't switch screen to sensor screen.

So it's not the reverse switch. It could be the the module as suggested? Must admit I don't know where that is. Though maybe you have a faulty bumper sensor? You could do with a diagnostic session with VCDS. You're too far from me to help you with that.

Is the parking sensor button working?

No there's nothing on the car to turn them off as far as I know, had the car 7 years and never seen anything anywhere. It's only got the rear sensors fitted.
