Hi, towers of caravans,

what do the caravan towers on this forum do to cover the breakdown of the car and caravan, I see from the Skoda roadside assistance that Skoda only tow the caravan to "the nearest place of safety" thats not going to cut it if the car is laid upo for any length of time, does this render the Skoda assistance useless when towing a caravan or large trailer for that matter?

Caravan has gone now but I used Mayday via the Caravan Club whilst we had it. Fortunately never had to use it but I think the CC bit meant they'd also take longer caravans or some such.
