Which felicia uses vw engines?

Featured Replies

My sisters felicia is having starter motor problems.Which ones use vw engines in case she has to visit the brakers yard?

iirc it's just the 1.6L that was VAG.

Which engine does she have?

the starter motors the same on the 1.3 and 1.6 models. the diesel one is larger but it will fit though

However the starter motors arent the same as VAG because they all use the Skoda gearbox.

Members report favourably on www.SkoSpares.com for secondhand parts.

the 1.9D is str8 out of the polo so more VW than any other ?

The 1.6 is the VW AEE Polo engine.

But iirc they all use the Skoda box and therefore Skoda starter motor.

Hello.

The 1.3 MPi is a reworked Favorit engine and the 1.6/1.9 are VW variants. Most reviewers and even the AA prefer the 1.3 AKA:- LAST OF THE SKODAS engine rather then the more expensive and no speed gain of the 1.6. However begin a 1.6 VW someone on here probably knows a mod to make it as fast as hell. On that note the 1.3 runs as rich as the 1.6 and performance is overall better on the 1.3 SKODA engine so as a result it is thirsty like its 1.6 friend. I have the 1.3Multi-Point, the single point injection version is I am told 310mpg mine is 240 for

I've had both 1.6 and 1.3 MPi, both are good engines. I found the 1.3 nicer to drive tbh, little noisy but revved much easier even though down a little on power.

i managed to squeeze just under 140bhp out of my 1.6 (aee engine) felicia running on 40mm jenvey throttle bodies, it was fun to say the least, and would see off a golf vr6 easy. oh i do love felicia's
