P2458 DPF error code

Hi guys,

 

I have the dreaded glow plug flashing a master engine light illuminated. After searching various posts on here, all of them have the soot values in the DPF menu. I am using the car scanner app via a Bluetooth module. Clearing the value to force a regen doesn’t help.
 

Am I to assume that as I have no values on the diagnostics with the soot levels, that the sensor has failed? 
 

Any help would be great!
