2018 reg Octavia technology 1.5 tsi petrol - what spec of oil please

I have read up on this form that pre-2019 1.5 tsi engines need vw 504 (5w30) but am being informed by local motor factor it in fact needs the vw508 spec - which is correct please ? Thanks in advance for your replies

5w 30 FS III or if you want 0w 30 FS III to VW 504 00 / 507 00.

 

About the age of your TSI & later than yours has 0w 20 FS IV as the recommended oil by VW / Skoda   VW508 00 / 509 00
