1.2 TSI CBZB - Timing Chain / Crank Sensor / Cam Sensor

Featured Replies

Hi All

Glad to be part of this community :)

I need some guidance with my 1.2 TSI CBZB engine.

Recently my EML has come on - I have checked the codes and this was the code that was scanned - P001600 - Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation Bank 1 Sensor A.

After seeing this code I changed the Cam and crank sensor, I then had the code cleared but the same issue persisted 😞

I was reading up about this and it may have been an issue with a stretched chain.

I have had the chain replaced and yet I am still encountering the same problem.

Does anyone have any idea or advice on what else could be causing the issue?

Make - VW
Model - Golf

Engine - 1.2 TSI (CBZB)
