Firstly... Hi!
I'm new to the forum, although not to VAG car ownership.
This is my first Skoda though, and loving it so far!

I've found a few topics through the search that touch on this, but most are quite old and most links are broken now so figured It's worth asking again... at the risk of being told to "use the bloody search!!!" :)

 

I have a 2008 Octavia Scout. It has the Bolero head unit fitted, although looking at the history thats a replacement for the original Stream.
I'm wanting to fit something compatible with Android Auto, but most of the Android units seem to fit from 2009 onwards. Seemingly you can upgrade the CAN gateway to fit these to an earlier car, but just wondering if anyone knows of anything that just fits and works?

 

We have an Erisin in our 2010 Sharan, and thats great, but I cant see an equivalent model for the '08 Octavia?
