Hey guys.

 

So I've recently just noticed that the xenon lights no longer turns the direction that steering wheel is turning.

I did notice a while ago that the lights would be "stock" in the left direction for a couple of seconds, before turning back to normal.

 

Lights are working fine, when I start the car and they do the whole "start-up" thingy. Moving down and to the side.

 

Anyone have an idea of what the problem is?

Probably obvious, but check where the headlight switch is. If it is in 'AUTO' then the lights will swivel as normal. However if you go a click past 'AUTO' to 'ON, the headlamps will work, but the swivel function is disabled...

If in auto mlde they perhaps just need a reset.

Its currently in auto and always has been. 

 

How do I reset it?

IIRC, the swivelling function is also disabled if the car is in "Eco" mode.

You need either OBDeleven or VCDS. They will show any faults plus allow a reset. I use OBDeleven as I keep it in the glovebox just incase something goes wrong whilst I am out. Or you could book it into a VAG specialist.
