68 plate Citigo Infotainment system switches itself off.

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've just picked up a Citigo today. Happy with driving it but noticed the radio/infotainment system switches itself off after about 10-15 seconds of being on. This was happening both while driving and while at standstill with engine off. I've done a search of the forums but can't see anything specific to this, but there seems to be similar issues reported with Skoda's infotainment systems (e.g. freezing, rebooting etc).

I'm wondering if it's switching it off as the battery may be low on charge, but not sure the cheapest way to check that. Is this a possibility or is it more likely to be a fault? Any advice much appreciated.

Could be battery.

Could be a faulty ignition switch - a common fault that causes several possible unusual electrical issues. Check on Up! owners forum.
